Surprisingly enough a late entrant to the already packed mobile market in India, Reliance Communications (RCom), India’s one of the largest and only telecom service provider to offer nationwide GSM and CDMA services. It was announced on 4th January the availability of Reliance Mobile GSM Services in the metropolis. Early this week, RCom had announced the nationwide launch of GSM services covering just about 11,000 towns and all major cities. The company has set up network to provide high and exclusive quality; Congestion-free and Zero-Call drop GSM services with a total investment of more than Rs 10,000 crore.

On the other hand, it launched a first-of-its-kind Customer Experience Programme (CEP) too for customers’ preferring Reliance Mobile GSM Services. It is a unique and exclusive plan which offers up to 100% savings to sub-Rs 300 ARPU cell phone users in the city at a one-time subscription charge including GSM SIM of Rs 25 only. Mr Dinesh Gulati, RCom Regional Head – West, said ”The Reliance Mobile GSM entails offering a unique value proposition, fine-tuned as per the needs of every segment of the 250 million GSM customers market in the country.”  He added, ”The CEP, Reliance Mobile GSM’s first offering, is in line with the Company’s Philosophy of making world-class telephone services accessible and affordable to the masses.”
